Recipe Book

We finally finished the recipe book containing all the information our team of chefs sent us. We hope you enjoy it, and if you want to share with us some pictures of your excellent creations, we will be very glad.

You should already have the e-mail containing the PDF file. But if anything happened, you already checked all folders, and gave it a last check inside the spam folder (Sometimes internet filters do crazy things), you could always ask us to re-send it to your e-mail, or an alternate one.

Replacements

You should already have your copy by now. We have been recieving a very few mails of copies of the game with some missing parts. If your copy has any issue of that kind, or anything else has happened to your game, please send us an e-mail to [email protected].

Mexican Backers

These are the last copies to be sent. The games coming to Mexico are in the middle of the ocean right now (Don't worry, they are still over a ship). We will let you know when we recieve them. Late May would be a close estimate of arrival.

Add-ons

All add-ons will be sent from inside Mexico. Just as the games, we still haven't recieved any add-ons yet. As soon as we get them, we will let you know. Also late May would be a close estimate o arrival.

Por fin hemos terminado el diseño del recetario, el cual contiene toda la información que nuestro equipo de chefs nos compartió. Esperamos que lo disfruten, y si quisieran compartirnos algunas fotogradías de sus excelentes creaciones, nos encantará.

Ya mandamos el correo electrónico con el archivo en PDF. Si por cualquier cosa no lo has recibido, ya buscaste en todas las carpetas y le diste una última checada al spam (a veces el internet filtra muy extraño), pídenos que te lo reenviemos a tu correo, o a algún correo alterno.

Repuestos

Ya debería haber llegado tu copia. Hemos recibido pocos correos sobre copias del juego con algunos componentes faltantes. Si es tu caso, o cualquier cosa ha pasado con tu juego, mándanos un correo a [email protected].

Patrocinadores Mexicanos

Las suyas son las últimas copias que nos falta por enviar. Los juegos vienen a México y se encuentran a la mitad del océano justo ahora (sin problemas, siguen sobre el barco). En cuanto los recibamos, les avisaremos. Finales de Mayo es una fecha estimada de llegada.

Add-ons

Todos los Add-ons se enviarán desde México. Justo como los juegos, aún no recibimos los Add-ons. Igualmente, en cuanto los recibamos, les avisaremos. Finales de Mayo también es su fecha estimada de llegada.

Hello Chefs!

We have some excellent news: Games are arriving to our backers now!

Shipping

Why didn't we updated you before when shipping started? Well, our fulfillment partner VFI Asia started sending this as soon as we sent them the details. We were waiting for a pre bill or invoice to commit payment for shipping (In fact we are still waiting). It turns out that in good faith our fulfillment partner started sending this :) We are very happy with this and will continue to work with VFI Asia for small games.

After opening your game PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE STICKERS SHEET to assemble them properly ;)

Mexican backers, don't despair. Shipping fees for our country were pretty low because we will import those games from our warehouse in Texas to Mexico, so it will take a little bit longer.

 Manufacture issues

After completing manufacture, we asked our manufacturer to send some copies directly to our HQ in Mexico City. Unfortunately, the first copy we opened had two issues: a missing piece (which is usual in any project) and 2 broken wooden tokens. We asked our manufacturer to provide replacement parts. Luckily, the next 2 games we opened had everything in order.

If your copy arrives with some manufacture issue, send us an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject Replacement part and we will sort out any issues at our cost. 

Add-ons

The promo Annukuh ingredient cards and the Chef Hats were manufactured in Mexico. We are sorting out those items for assembly and shipping. So they will arrive later.

As you know, this is a very short game. The rulebook suggest playing at 6 points but we encourage you to play it at 7 when fully mastered. (Or even more in 2-player games)

Envíos

Tenemos grandes noticias: ¡los juegos ya están llegando!

Debido a que el excedente de los juegos los distribuiremos en México, tuvimos que traerlos por mar. Aún tomará un mes antes de que los tengamos en nuestras manos pero ya estamos muy cerca. Emilio recibió su juego directamente desde un envío de China (no fue barato) pero era muy importante para nosotros que recibiera una copia de su juego cuanto antes.

Una vez que tengamos el resto de las copias se las haremos llegar o podrán recogerlas en La Caravana para que Emilio les firme su copia. A otros patrocinadores cercanos, Emilio les entregará personalmente su juego.

Temas de manufactura

 En cuanto terminó la producción, le pedimos a nuestro manufacturador que enviara unas pocas copias a México directamente desde China. Desafortunadamente, el primer juego que abrimos tenía dos fallas: Le faltaba una pieza (lo cual es usual en cualquier proyecto) y dos piezas de madera estaban rotas. Afortunadamente, las siguientes 2 copias que abrimos estaban en excelentes condiciones.

Si su copia resulta tener algo de esto, reemplazaremos la pieza faltante o dañada sin costo alguno.

Recompensas adicionales

Las cartas promocionales de Annukuh y los sombreros de chef fueron fabricados en México. Estos objetos aún no están terminados y su envío es independiente al de los juegos.

Pallet on its way

Hello Chefs!

We are very glad to share that the pallet has arrived to VFI Asia, our fulfillment partner. Manufacture for the deluxe version is complete now. Chinese New Year celebrations are currently happening so we will have to wait a couple of weeks more to get our hands on the games!

 We are also expecting to receive the first copies in Mexico to make an unboxing.

Another Cooking game

We partnered with Detestable Games to help them publish their games, today Cooks & Crooks went live on Kickstarter, funded in 7 hours and now it is heading to unlock Stretch Goals! This game is totally different from Cooking Rumble although it shares the Cooking-theme.

We will keep you posted about any shipping progress for Cooking Rumble, we are very excited to receive our copy too!

Estamos muy contentos de compartirles que estamos muy próximos a enviar las copias de Cooking Rumble. VFI Asia es quien se encargará de enviarnos los juegos para México y una vez aquí, realizaremos las entregas. Estamos colaborando con Detestable Games para sacar sus juegos al mercado a través de Kickstarter. Hoy salió la campaña para Cooks & Crooks y se fondeó en 7 horas, otro juego de cocina pero muy distinto a Cooking Rumble.

 Si deseas apoyar el proyecto y adquirir tu copia, hazlo hoy porque los patrocinadores del primer día obtendrán de manera gratuita la expansión del juego.

Hello Chefs!

We have great news: Manufacture for the components had finished! 

And this is how it will fit with the cardboard insert:

During the next days we will arrange everything to start shipping. We had a talk with Jeremy from VFI Asia, and apparently, the games can ship with tracking info from there to every backer without incurring in customs. He assured us that light games like this one with low manufacture value do not reach the threshold for EU, USA, CAD, or AUD customs. We will give it a shot, in case anything happens, we will talk in a case-by-case basis to arrange refunds. Asian backers will have a special refund on shipping after the project is completed, since we are using VFI ASIA. 

We recently charged credit cards for shipping on BackerKit. Some of them errored, we will try again soon.

We really want to try this method, not only because it simplifies things but because it will be faster too.

Add-ons will still need to be shipped from Mexico because we are manufacturing them here. Take a look at the Promo Annukuh Ingredient Cards:

 If you have been following the Annukuh since our previous game Tricksters, you will notice a 4th breed: The air Annukuh! We are already planning big things for the Annukuh. And speaking of which, right now we have a live campaign on Kickstarter to fund the plush toy of the Water Annukuh:

Tenemos excelentes noticias: la producción de los componentes del juego ha terminado.

Y así es como vendrá con el inserto de cartón:

Durante los siguientes días haremos los arreglos para comenzar con la etapa del envío de recompensas. Los juegos para México llegarán desde China a nuestra bodega en Estados Unidos y de ahí los importaremos. Antes de comenzar con los envíos nacionales, daremos las fechas en las que entregaremos las copias en La Caravana GDL y CDMX, siendo en la última donde estará presente Emilio Estrada, el autor del juego, para firmar copias y agradecer personalmente a los backers.

Recientemente realizamos el cargo a las tarjetas en BackerKit para proceder con esta etapa de envíos. A los que lo recojan personalmente, se les reembolsará el 70%, tal como lo indicamos antes. 

Los extras como los gorros y las cartas de Annukuh se están produciendo en México. Echen un vistazo a las cartas de Ingrediente Annukuh para Cooking Rumble:

 Quienes han seguido el trayecto de los Annukuh desde nuestro juego pasado, Tricksters, se darán cuenta que hay una 4ta raza: el annkuh de aire. Tenemos grandes cosas planeadas para el futuro de los Annukuh. Y hablando de ellos, tenemos un proyecto activo en Kickstarter para hacer el peluche del Annukuh de agua:
